Zachary Scott
Zach Scott is the Grants Manager for UMOCR. He is responsible for coordinating UMCOR's grant management and review process, focusing on international disaster response, preparedness and risk reduction. He works closely with local partners and UMCOR staff to structure programs, develop frameworks for accountability and create long-term initiatives.
Prior to joining UMCOR, Zach worked for the Aga Khan Foundation, managing the conceptualization, administration and compliance of programs within the disaster risk reduction portfolio and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, where he coordinated the resettlement of refugees in affiliate organizations across the United States.
Zach has a Master's Degree from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service and holds a B.A. in History and Spanish from Indiana University. He also speaks Romanian, a language he picked up during his time as a Peace Corps volunteer after graduation from college.
